15 Sep: XR Academy launched with our introductory event on eXtended Reality technologies! Organized by HOWEST University of Applied Sciences (Hogeschool West-Vlaanderen), in collaboration with XR Valley, it focused on XR Technology as the Interface of the Metaverse and took place at The Penta in Kortrijk.
Many thanks to our speakers Guy Van Wijmeersch, Pieter Van Leugenhagen, Cederik Haverbeke, Rens Bonnez, Arne Ottoy and Isabel De Peuter-Rutten, and to everyone involved. This first seminar was a huge success thanks!
The next four sessions focus on different sectors, namely:
- Culture, tourisme & heritage at Stereopsia EUROPE (Brussels) on October 18th, - Healthcare at Healthhouse (Leuven) on November 17th, - Training and Educational Technology at Hangar K (Kortrijk) on December 8th, - Architecture, Design & Engineering at The Penta (Kortrijk) on February 2nd.
